TiReD...

Tonight I am tired. Life is hardest when we are tired. We all feel it at some point. It is just a matter of what we are tired of that differs. Some are tired of feeling sick. Some are tired of fighting addictions, or temptations, or depression. Some are tired of being pregnant, or climbed on, or pooped on, or spit up on. Some are tired of feeling lonely. Some are tired of having to get up every day and work all day to provide for their families. Our trials differ but sometimes each of us gets tired of bearing our personal cross.

Tonight I am tired. I am tired of working. I am tired of trying to keep my mind firm and positive. I am tired of driving to Salt Lake 5 days a week. I am tired of laundry, a messy house...I am JUST tired.

A co-worker asked me what I was posting about I told him I was posting about being tired. He said that was not a good thing to post about. We all get tired but we cannot, we must not give up the good fight. We must take up our cross and fight onward. The stakes are just too high. The alternative is too bleak. Heaven watches us most closely when we are tired. It is the crucial point in the game that defines us as players. What do we do when we are tired? Do we give up or do we call for help and carry on. These tired times are defining moments.

Tonight I am going to go home and tell Zach how much I love him. It is he who can make me smile through my tears. It is he who helps me bear my cross despite the weight of his own. I love that man. He is an example of strength and endurance to me. I am going to go home and give my kids lots of hugs and kisses, I miss them..I miss hearing them laugh and play with each other. I can't wait to see my cute family this evening!!!

Being tired stinks, I agree. It is our defining moment though. Either we curl up and let it get to us, or we are like you and fight through it!! Good on ya girl!!! Thanks for the lift.

Hey Beck, I just want you to know how impressed I was with you when we were up in Utah. You have always been such a hard worker and I admire that. Your kids are beautiful and you are a beautiful mother. You are doing a great job and I can't wait to see you in Nov.

I hear ya, sista! I am tired too. But, like you say, family is what makes it worth it all. Families are cool! I like mine too.

You are awesome!!

It is really hard to keep positive when you are tired. The main thing to remember is that the tired we feel now is just a twinkle in the big picture of life. We are here for such a short time on earth and we will be at rest through all eternity with our families and our good friends. Hang in there Becky, we love you and your family!
