Brockman Tradition

It seems like the day that Zach leaves, I have to stay busy. My family knows this, so we always go for a bike ride with the Brockman cousins on the path behind Lagoon. It has become a fun tradition and the kids LOVE it.

And He is OFF....

Well the dreaded time of year came, Zach is gone to Egypt. We are surviving....some days are much harder than others, but we are making it. He has already been gone for 3 weeks. Hopefully the next 7 weeks go by just as fast. We ALL miss and LOVE you Zach!

Happy Birthday Kohen...

May 15, 2006 Changed our lives forever. Kohen Zachary Gerrard came into our family, and we were SO excited. What an experience to have him with us. He is such a little peacemaker, LOVES his sister and his dog, Broc. His Daddy is his best friend. He has been such a great kid to raise. He is a very good example and loves Primary. Thank you Kohen for being such a GREAT son. We love you xoxo Happy Birthday!

Pre-School Graduation

I can't believe that Kohen finished his first year of pre-school. He LOVED every minute of it and did a GREAT job. He learned so many fun and CrAzY songs, he learned, The Pledge Of Allegiance, He leaned all of the months, days and how to count. It was a great experience for us. We are excited to have him and Addi go next year. Way to GO Buddy...We are SO proud of you!

No TRAINING WhEeLs

We were out having fun on a Sunday afternoon, and Kohen says, Dad I want to ride that bike with no training wheels...he pretty much got on and started riding with no training wheels. He has been a GREAT bike rider and LOVES it. It was so FUN! Way to go Kohen!

This is LONG over due...finding time to update this thing is nearly impossible, but well worth the time when I do find it. This year Easter was really fun. We did the traditional egg dying, egg finding fun, and the kids loved it. I loved it to, because this was the first time I have ever dyed eggs too. It was really fun to make these memories with my kids.

Long.Lost.Love...

When I was in 6th grade my mom signed me up for sewing lessons. Zach always teases me that I can't sew on a button. It has been a LOOOOOOONG time since I have even thought about sewing. I saw the cuttest dress that I was going to buy addi, and I thought to myself...I can make that. Saterday afternoon, my mom and I spent the day looking for fabric and sewing all afternoon. It was so fun, and I thought these little dresses turned out so cute. Addi looks so darling in them. We had some material left so I made a little one for my cousins baby...Lola. It was so fun to get back to sewing, I think that I will be spending more time doing the things that I really love!!!

March Maddness

March has come and gone in the blink of an eye! We have had a very busy month. It started off with Addi and one ear infection..tuned into RSV and then another ear infection with croup. We finally get her better...then poor Kohen gets the same thing but pneumonia with croup. This was not a fun 2 weeks in our house and they were miserable. After we got them better, we have been attempting to potty train...NOT my favorite thing to do. Addi is doing great, but we are still working on it. We have had lots of sleepovers with cousins, and fun play dates. We have been loving the Sunny days as we get them. I am SO excited for the warm weather....

Bored and STUCK inside!

A couple of weeks ago, I was really sick. Kohen was at school and poor Addi was bored and stuck inside. Her little mind goes 24-7. She is not a kid that will sit and watch a movie, or just relax. She is going NON-STOP! As I was trying to get some rest she came up with this idea....THE BABY JUMPER. I put her in it and she was content for about an hour. It was so cute I had to grab some pics. I can't believe that she is 2.5 years old and still fits in this. It was so funny and cute. We love you Addi girl!

5 Years and Counting

February 18, 2005 changed my life FOREVER! That is the day that we said, I DO! The last 5 years has been great. Full of ups and downs, good times and bad. Zach and I have been through a lot together in the last 5 years. It started out 3 weeks in Egypt, when I went to visit Zach while we were engaged. We have spent a week in Hawaii for an AWESOME honeymoon. We have been through 2 SCARY pregnancy's. 2 ADORABLE little kids that we both love to pieces. We have been through lots of summers apart, while Zach works in Egypt. We have are on our 4th car together. We both brought cars into the marriage that are now gone. We have been through a foot surgery. We are still going through school. We have been through a death of a parent. I lost my dad last year on this day. Lots of sleepless nights, due to sickness or just not being able to sleep. We have bought a house together, and made lots of memories. Through it all LOVE still remains. It has been a great journey so far. I won't say that it has been easy....AT ALL, but it has certainly been worth it. Life brings its challenges everyday, but that is what makes us strong. I am so thankful for my challenges and that I can share them with Zach. He is a great husband, and makes raising kids so fun and has all of us laughing all of the time. Zach, I hope that it has been as good for you, as it has been for me. I LOVE you and I can't wait to celebrate this weekend with you and the rest of our lives together. I LOVE YOU!!!
xoxo
