Splish Splash Summer FuN

Today I took Kohen and Addi to Gateway to play in the fun fountain. Kohen had a blast...He loved every minute of it. Addi is of course the best baby and just had fun watching Kohen play with Brock and Braden. They are such fun cousins and Kohen loves when they come anywhere with us.

I LoVe YOU Zach...

I just want to take a minute to tell you how much I love you. I can't believe that it has already been over a month since you have been gone. It defiantly has brought its challenges and trials. That is what truly makes us stronger. I am SO grateful that I can pick up the phone to call you at anytime to tell you the funny things that Kohen says to me, or the new things that Addison is learning. You are the best listener....ESPECIALLY when I am at my "whits end." What would our life be without these little blessings that bring such joy to us each and every day? I can't wait for you to see is amazing how much they have grown and changed in just one short month. How the time flies. I am so grateful for all that you do for us as a family and for me on a personal level. You are my best friend and I thank God for you and my sweet little family every night. We think about you every day and can't wait for the end of July to see you again. It will be here sooner than we know.....WE CaN'T Wait!!! Thank you for all that you do for me. I am so LuCkY to call you mine, you have taught me so many things in my life.
You are so smart, and reason with me so well. Thank you Zach for teaching me so many of lifes greatest lessons, for helping my testimony grow, for supporting me through all of lifes trials, and for showing me how to endure everything that life throws at you. Thank you for smiling everyday, even when it hurts so bad to do so...You GiVe me hope and a desire to do the same. You are amazing, and i love you so much HoNEY!! You are my EVERYTHING....
"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without... Fall head over heels. I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back... Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived." William Parrish

Cute Addi

Kevin and Tara recently took a dreamy vacation to Hawaii....I have to admit that I am pretty jealous..anyway they brought Kohen and Addi the curtest little outfits back. Kohen's pic didn't turn out, but dang Addi looks so cute in her little Hawaiian dress... Definitely Blog worthy Thanks Kevin & Tara...

Riding in Style...

Grandma Gerrard is one lucky lady...Grandpa Gerrard is a SUCKER and bought Grandma a new FUN car. A HOT RED Convertable she came over for a visit, took Kohen for a ride AND let him drive her NeW car. It is SO fun...I have yet to take it for a drive...but Grandma loves it and looks SO cute driving it.

FuN DaYz

This BLOG is for Zach...We love and miss you TONS!!! Addi is always saying Da Da Da...she is so dang cute and fun. Kohen loves to be outside and LOVES bubbles. He tells me everyday that Daddy Egypt. He keeps me on my toes. I love these little people SO much and thank Heavenly Father every night for my sweet little family. I love and miss you babe.

Final Diagnosis...ECOLI

After a long 2 weeks of Dr's appointments, TONS of throw up and poop, 3 or 4 trips to the ER, a deep gut feeling that something isn't right, we finally figured out that my sweet baby has ECOLI....I know you are all asking yourself....How does a baby get ECOLI? Well, it lives all around us. She probably got it from a grocery cart. Lesson learned clean the carts off a little better than you usually do.

Addi and Kohen have been so sick for the last 2 weeks. I took them both to the Dr and they kept telling me it is ROTO Virus, just wait it out and they will get better. Last Tuesday night, I put Kohen to bed and within seconds he was screaming MOMMY. I knew that something was not right. I took one look at him and I knew that I needed to take him in. I called my mom to come sit with Addi. I called my sister to see if she would come with me to the U of U Emergency Room. Primary's did nothing for us. On the way I called my brother, Jared to see if he would meet us to give Kohen a blessing. We all met and waited and waited and WAITED. Finally at 1:00am we were called back...only to wait about 2 more hours. FINALLY a nurse came in to do blood work and hook my little boy up to IV's. He was dehydrated and had a bacteria infection from the steroid shot that he had gotten a week before. He was a little trooper and did so well during the whole thing. We were discharged at about 5:30 the next morning. My sister and brother stayed with me the whole time and my mom was tossing and turning worring about Kohen. What a wonder that IV fluids and antibiotics can do. Kohen is doing great...we HOPE!

I took my kids in to see Dr. Sigg for weight checks....Addi and Kohen had lost 2 pounds. My sweet Addi weighed in at 11.15 pounds. This is critical for her, Kohen was OK. So, Here I am off to Primary Children's again for blood work and IV's. We got there sure enough to be hooked up to IV's and to have every test done possible. How sad to see all that she went through. I think it is always harder on the mom. She did AWESOME. They did a stool sample and sent us home. I thought that all was good, so I went back to work on Saturday to come home to a message that Addi had an infection and I needed to get to the nearest back to Primary's we went for more blood work and IV's. She has Ecoli. We are keeping a VERY close watch on her and she is getting better. This has been a long couple of weeks, but I could not have made it through without my mom, Kristen, and Kim. I cannot believe how much help that I have received. I am so grateful for family and more importantly that my kids are getting better. Thanks to everyone for your thoughs and prayers.
